My mind is doing all kinds of random flips this morning.  The girls and I are pretty worn out from our trip last week - we spent the week with my sister and her family and had a wonderful, wonderful, very, very busy time.  I've got tons of pictures to share - are you surprised?  But, I've got to get the printer out of the car so I can download them.  Yeah, I took my printer on vacation - and my sewing machine too, if you were wondering....

The girls are just kind of running around like crazy this morning...they slept until almost 9:00 a.m. - some kind of record for them & I slept that late too, which is definitely some kind of record for me.  I've got several things I need to be working on but I'm feeling a bit discombobulated.  I've got a couple of estimates on projects that I'm waiting on responses from...that's always a bit of a nail-biting experience and Steve's waiting on an answer for something, too, so I guess I'm having a little trouble focusing this morning....  So, what I've been doing is surfing the web, reading about random things like the expected heat index here (112 is the best guess for today), trying to figure out a way to streamline my photo-editing process, and researching results of Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred DVD.  While I was doing that, I found this blog that has some awesome recipes and a really cool little question/answer interview to do with your kids.  So, I did it with Abigail and Gracie.  Here's Abigail's (I'll post Gracie's later)

An Interview With Abigail (age 2 years, 9 months - my questions are in bold print)

What is something I always say to you?
Abigail:  umm, come here

What makes me happy?
Abigail:  swimming pool

What makes me sad?
Abigail: mae mae

How do I make you laugh?
Abigail:  like this, “ha, ha, ha!”

What do you think I was like as a child?
Abigail:  umm, I make you laugh.  I the momma and I make you laugh

How old am I?
Abigail:  three

How tall am I?
Abigail:  three, eleven twelve

What is my favorite thing to do?
Abigail:  play choo-choo train with me

What do I do when you're not around?
Abigail:  Drink all your soda

If I become famous, what will it be for?
Abigail:  these chips (note from me:  there was a bag of Lay's chips and my Diet Dr. P sitting on the desk - she evidently used these props to weave a lot of her answers )

What am I really good at?
Abigail:  Your soda

What am I not really good at?
Abigail:  at the chips

What is my job?
Abigail:  Eat your soda

What is my favorite food?
Abigail:  Chips

What makes you proud of me?
Abigail:  Church

What makes me proud of you?
Abigail: When I read this (she points to Danny and the Dinosaur Go To Camp - I wasn't aware that she could read, so I guess that would make me proud )

What do you and I do together?
Abigail:  go to sleep and go to bed

How do you know that I love you?
Abigail:  if your eye hurts you go to the eye doctor (she got sunscreen in her eyes this morning and I told her if they didn't get better we'd have to take her to the doctor....I guess she equates that with love...)

What is one thing you wish you could change about me?
Abigail:  Baby
Me:  What does that mean?
Abigail:  You're a baby!

What do you wish you could go and do with me?
Abigail:  go to the movie store and not with gracie.  Gracie being mean and Gracie not coming to the movie store.
