Today was another one of our overpacked, go from early morning until you pass out at 8:00 p.m. kind of days.  We did a lot of fun things today:

We visited one of the local forts.  I've never been before...one of my friends told me that the light was just gorgeous and would be wonderful for pictures....she was right...



we played with Cousin Matthew



we went to the aviation museum


Steve and the kids went to the lake.  I stayed home and caught up on a few things, so there's no pictures of that part of our day

Then, we went to the All America day at church where the Gracie and Matthew  climbed a rock wall



and they all three played endlessly on the water slides



but by far the biggest excitement of the day actually happened at the lake (figures it would happen the one time that I didn't go with them ).  Here's the picture of the evidence of what happened though:



Can you see the change in Gracie's smile?  Right there in the center?  Yep, my baby lost her first tooth.  I think she's a little young, but it had a little help.  Last year she knocked it a bit lose with a drink bottle and on Monday, she knocked it even loser with a tape dispenser.  She's pleased as punch and has told absolutely everyone that she's seen in the last six hours about it.  I'm not so pleased...to me it's just tangible evidence of how fast my baby is growing up....but, she does look awfully cute with that gap in the middle of her smile!
