I love summer.  I love that things slow down, at least a little.  I love that the daily rush of wake the girls up, get the girls to school, pick the girls up from school, get the girls to after-school activities, get Gracie’s homework done, get the girls to bed at a reasonable time just flies out the window during the summer.  Yes, I still have responsibilities (hello work; hello grocery shopping; hello laundry) but I still feel more relaxed.  I’m so enjoying this first week of summer at home with my girls.  Sometimes, life really is a bowl of cherries….
